The small queenfish have continued to patrol the marina in search of the schools of hardy heads. Large GT's have been seen by anglers on the outside of the marina wall. The squid have contuniued to run in the gulf with reports coming in to the shop that Learmonth Jetty has had the squid show up on the high tide. A good sized cobia was hooked there too, but it had a healthy release when the hooks pulled right beside the jetty. Spangled emperor around the west side on the incoming tide has also been continuing with a few medium sized fish attacking...

In the deeper waters dolphin fish have been prevalent along with the odd black marlin. Big blue marlin tend to show up at this time of year and the sailfish are still playing around in the gulf. according to one angler in a tinny off Bundegi reef.
