Bluewater Tackle World News 6th October 2010

Bluewater Scarborough reports an abundance of skippy around Hillarys. Tyson from the Scarborough store reports that every hook up on skippy had numerous 30kg plus Sambos chasing behind. Unfortunately the gear they were using was far too light for these beasts. They even had skippy hitting their poppers which was interesting.

For those that are affected by the West Coast fishing ban, come into your local Bluewater Tackle World store to have your spools re-lined or reversed, getting that reel serviced or just to get ahead of the rest by stocking up on essentials for that next fishing trip away. Now is the time for those trolling lures aimed at mackies to be fitted with new hooks. Ask our friendly staff for recommendations on those questions you may have and we can even suggest some species of fish to target until the fishing bans have passed.

Stay tuned next week for more reports.
