The Exmouth Game Fishing Club held its annual Billfish Bonanza last weekend. The event was a great success with 20 boats, 65 anglers, over 150 billfish raised and 49 billfish tagged. The mornings were a little breezy, but the gulf glassed off each afternoon...

 The bait schools have been stirring up all sorts of action with the predatory fish off North-West Reef. According to the boys on Aqua you could have thrown a piece of wood in the water and it would have been eaten! The shark mackerel, spanish mackerel and sharks were rife and the best action was achieved using poppers which were smashed consistently...

The gulf has continued to show up some good variety of sports fish with bait schools hanging around the back of Bundegi reef. A clear-blue warm stretch of water has been running from Bundegi down to Two-Rocks, and within this area anglers have caught shark mackerel, trevally, cobia, queenfish, small spanish mackerel and a variety of tuna...
