Check out this fly catch!

Ant Simper from Bluewater Tackle World Exmouth had an eventful day flyfishing down around the Bay of Rest, mid October 2006...

Golden trevally and queenfish made up the bulk of the days catch, however the real highlight came in the form a huge painted sweetlip (also known as a “blue bastard”) which was spotted feeding on the flats, and then had no hesitation in taking the small fly in which Ant placed in front of it. On only an 8wt fly outfit it was real battle of patience in getting the big fish close enough to the boat and the waiting landing net. The fish was released after a couple of quick photos.

Get your feet wet!
