How much is the freight?

Within Australia, we charge a flat rate $10 for any delivery that doesn’t include an overlength item (Australia Post maximum is 1.05m). On average, that’s about half of what it costs us, so it’s a good deal for you.

If there is a rod or rod blank or similar long item included, the total freight charge will be $30, which includes durable packaging. This is a once-only charge; if you order ten rods, the freight cost is still $30 total. Please note it doesn't say this on the order. We could fix that if we spent an inordinate amount of time mucking around with the program, but we won't.

We still have to reserve the right to charge more if an order can’t be shipped for a realistic cost – i.e. particularly large or heavy items. This is a last resort and we won’t do it without your approval.

Outside Australia, we will charge what the carrier charges us. We will communicate with you promptly for orders where the freight cost is greater than A$50, and ensure your satisfaction before dispatch.

Back Orders

Australia: If we are out of stock on an item, please let us know if you want us to back order the item and send it when we can. The rest of the items on the order will be charged at the time they are sent out. Those items placed on back order will then be shipped out freight free as soon as they arrive, to Australian destinations.

International: Bluewater cannot do freight free back orders on orders being shipped to international addresses, except by special arrangement. If the back order option is chosen, those items not shipped with the original order will be processed as a new order once those out of stock items are available. In this case, the customer will be responsible for the delivery cost of the back order. We will work with you on this.

Damages

All claims for loss, damage or missing goods must be reported immediately by phone (+61 8 9245 1313) or to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . When reporting damages, be sure to hold all containers and packaging materials for inspection. Claims must be filed within 24 hours of receipt of shipment.
